EIGHT MEETING MINUTE (WIP 8)

Agenda:

Is product feasible to execute?:

The keychain has no problem as we already make a some of it, and we have no issues. However, we have concern with our bento because we need to make sure it is hygienic and safe. For the ingredients, we are not cooking it on electric pan, but we will cook it using air fryer for easier preparation and less oil. We suppose the preparation of the bento will be quite complicated. Overall comment, it is possible to execute it but we need to put some efforts into it.


Budget, are we willing to spend the amount we presented?:

Our presented amount is around RM400, and it is already a good amount since it includes decorations and the product cost while also can allocate some for donation. 


Status update:

1. Logistics: 

Prepared most of the product items. The keychain has no issue, everything is prepared. For the bento, we will buy the frozen ingredients few days before the event. Some stuff like the furikake, seaweed and bonito flakes already ordered online. Lastly, the booth setup, we are still looking for our decoration materials

2. NGO: 

Still haven't received email reply although we called them twice. We are going to send a follow up email for MNS to notify them again.

3. Donation + Sponsorship: 

So far we have collected RM 400 in donations. We already have enough to cover costs but will look for more just in case.

Food preparation: Currently searching for ricecooker, airfryer, heat insulation box, as well as the hygiene things.

 Concept Mind Map: Product 1 Mind Map: Product 2 Mind Map: Personal Reflection: At the beginning of the ideation assignment, it was challenging to settle on a strong concept that was recognizable and engaging which was also connected to nature to relate it to NGO chosen. Eventually, I drew inspiration from Zelda. Another challenging aspect was designing the logo to fit the concept aesthetic as well and also making the booth reflect and educate something about nature.
